When I
first saw this amazing Asos Curve swing dress in paisley print with contrast
collar, my initial inclination was to throw on a black trench and boots.
However, I found that the detail in the dress deserved so much more, so I
decided to style it two ways. It can be super intimidating to not only wear,
but accessorize, a dress that has such a bold print. It is easy to pair it with
neutrals, but I have found that adding contrasting colors really helps bring
out the intricacy of the print.
The first
look I went for was a very causal, going to get my groceries while looking
super fly, style. I achieved this by pairing the dress with a loose, thrifted
jean jacket (which I wore both over and tied around the wait), a wool knit head
wrap, a block colour tote and my favourite ballet flats. After this shoot I
actually ran around doing errands, and I felt oh so chic the entire time,
including when I was fighting a lady for the last ripe bunch of bananas (btw, I
won).

For the
second look, I decided to dress up the paisley swing dress for a more night
time look. I achieved this look by pairing the paisley swing dress with a fur
detailed blazer coat c/o of Addition Elle, a colour block clutch I received as
a gift from Winners and my favourite suede Nude pumps from Shoedazzle’s last
season collection. This outfit is so amazing and quite flattering, as it gives
some structure to the swing dress. I will for sure be wearing this one out next
time my girls and I go out for some drinks.
